It’s been a busy Fall at Culdesac Kids. Sunshine Factory is preparing to release its debut album, Electric Beach, along with a free six-track EP, AND its first video off the album, “Zed Word.”
In true Culdesac Kids-style, we gave the treatment a unique twist, releasing it in two parts; one a Grindhouse-stylo, and the second, an LA-noir rendition with a nod to George A. Romero’s 1968 classic “Night of The Living Dead.”
To execute this project we enlisted the help of longtime Culdesac Kids partner-in-crime, cinematographer/director Carlos Herrera, who shot, wrote, and directed the video. We’ll also be showcasing the terrifying work of local special effects makeup artist Pauline Noriega.
“Zed Word,” Parts 1 and 2, is scheduled to be released just in time for Hallows’ Eve. Here’s the first look at what’s in store. Enjoy and share!
