DJ Shadow “Total Breakdown: Hidden Transmissions From the MPC Era, 1992-1996”
I don’t know about you but I needed this right about now. The albums title refers to lost tapes, demos, b-sides etc. The record itself plays like a directors commentary in your dvd extras section and thats fine by me. Over two decades have passed since Endtroducing, I find that amazing given I still remember being in the high school parking lot with Midnight in a Perfect World on full blast in my little Toyota truck. Nostalgia seekers this record is for you, and for that reason I think Total Breakdown: Hidden Transmissions From the MPC Era is the perfect answer to all the Shadow fans who constantly are asking what happened to DJ Shadow?
